I loved that when they tried to bring back Beavis and Butthead it failed because they were smarter than the real life people on regular MTV.

They were the cutting edge of pop culture for so long. If Viacom had let them embrace the internet instead of push back on it... MTV could have morphed into a video on demand streaming service, you could select video playlists from their archives instead of picking through Vevo on Youtube. So sad to watch a good thing die.
